Feel like I wanna sing the blues tonite

I sure am feelin those blues tonite
and it looks like they're here to stay

ain't often that lonesome whistle blows
but tonight it seems real clear
I can here the sax man blowin that horn
and my heart feels the sting of a tear

sometimes we just gotta give in
and let those blues take hold
like the guy on the trumpet beltin out
those grand old songs of old

Im singin those blues and feelin im deep
walkin down memory lane
